- 1Download the ScreenScribe extension (.zip)
- 2Unzip the downloaded file to a folder
- 3Open chrome://extensions in your browser
- 4Enable "Developer mode" (top-right toggle)
- 5Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped folder. Note: Do not click into the folder — instead, select the folder and hit the "Select Folder" button on the bottom right.
- 6ScreenScribe appears in your toolbar — click the extensions puzzle icon to see it
- 7Hit the pin icon next to ScreenScribe so it stays visible in your toolbar
- 8Click the ScreenScribe icon to start extracting!
